Nick and Jake’s: Sports Bar with American Flair and Delicious Sandwiches

About a month ago on a very snowy night, we ordered 12 meals from Nick and Jake's for our friends. No one wanted to go out in the snow. Everything was very good, but they forgot the soups we ordered, 2 of them. I called up and the manager, I believe it was John, told us he would take care of it for us. I explained that we lived very close and asked if he would deliver them since the weather was so bad and we had a house full of company. He said he would and he brought them to our house very quickly! A sign of a good restaurant is not just whether the food is good, but how they handle problems that come up. That night he went above and beyond to take care of us! We really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Loved the food and service . We got mashed potatoes& salmon and pork with a side of sweet potatoes. The chocolate cake was delicious .

Great food, wonderful service and a classy, chill atmosphere make this a go-to place in Overland Park. Great menu with a variety of choices, a little on the expensive side, but not overly so for this area. A few decent Happy Hour specials and tasty specialty cocktails to bring in the early crowd. Never had a bad experience here and plan to return as often as we can.

I luv this place! I have tried several items on the menu. The bruschetta is one of my favorites. They also have excellent gumbo. My husband orders the ribs and fries every time we come and the meat literally falls off the bone. Don't just read my review, go see for yourself.

The sandwiches here are very good. The pictures on the wall from the 20s or 30s seem like a nice touch as well. We also tried sweet potato fries and regular fries, both of which were really tasty. The Reuben sandwich i had was very tasty but the ratio of bread to meat was a little bit off. There was a lot of bread and less corned beef than I was used to. If there's going to be less corned beef, then there should be less bread too, so it maintains that right ratio for everything to taste perfect.

All around great experience - fantastic food; friendly, engaging, helpful service; awesome atmosphere. Our first time won't be our last. Menu is vast and has something for everyone. Came with a group of 10 (4 kids 12 & under) on a Sunday afternoon with no trouble. Called ahead to make sure we could be accommodated after being turned away at another place. When I checked us in I made sure to say that we were all present, and the hostess said that they don't worry about having everyone present, so large groups take note! Sunday brunch menu was awesome. Several of us ordered off of it. Three of us got the Bruschetta Burger, 2 of those subbed grilled chicken for the burger (highly recommend). Kids were given big paper menus with name-brand crayons and plates with Cheez-its and grapes right away. Stellar service for families! Mixed drinks from the bar were well made. Food was prepared in an appropriate amount of time and delivered fresh and hot.

Hello Nick & Jake’s. We thought to visit you from so long time but waiting for the right chance, finally we got the chance and we visited continuously for 2 times to eat same dish. yummy! This place is so nice and clean with decent busyness, I feel like this is more suitable for grand parents because when I went I saw all grand parents only! It doesn’t mean it won’t suit for Younger people, it’s a very good place to visit for sure. About food, it’s definitely good and more quality too. Items we tried are 1. Crispy Thai shrimp. Must try!!! 2. Chicken breast with rice and chips. These are so yummy for sure and for the price that we pay, they are making sure to give good quality. I am impressed with your service and quality. Feedback to restaurants. 1. You have a good scope to improve fragrance. Other than that everything is superb, Cheers and have a good one.

Really good lunch specials. Had the steak salad, that was tasty! Restaurant week had seafood tortellini, which was good. Steak soup very good!
